Steven D. Feldman, TLA President, is an attorney with the firm Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP, in New York City. Steve focuses his practice on white collar criminal litigation and securities enforcement matters. He represents companies and individuals accused of business crimes, public corruption, securities law violations and fraudulent practices by the U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, State Attorneys General, District Attorneys’ Offices, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Steve received his J.D. magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, (Order of the Coif) in 1997, and his B.A. cum laude from Tufts University in 1992. Kathryn Sheehan, TLA Vice President, is legal counsel at CDM Smith Inc., a global civil engineering firm headquartered in Boston. Her practice covers a wide range of contract matters, internal governance, and data security. Prior to joining CDM Smith, she was a member of the complex litigation and regulatory affairs team at a large financial services firm. Kathryn received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2014 and her B.A. in Music and Economics from Tufts University in 2009. While at Tufts, she was a member of multiple music ensembles and the Tufts Irish Dance Club.
Andre T. Baynes, a TLA board member, is Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Fidelity Investments in Boston, where he focuses his practice on ERISA/retirement issues. Prior to Fidelity, Andre worked in product management, sales and relationship management roles at a number of financial services companies including MFS, Putnam Investments, Fidelity Investments and Gruntal & Company. Andre has almost 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Andre received his J.D from Suffolk Law School, his MBA from Boston University, and graduated from Tufts University in 1991 with a B.S. in psychology. While at Tufts, he was on the Varsity Track & Field team and played intramural football. He was also involved in a variety of undergraduate groups and clubs, including the Tufts Caribbean Club and the Tufts African American Society. Andre has been co-chair of Tufts Law Day on the Hill.
Amy C. Cococcia is a partner at the New York office of Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP, where she has practiced immigration law for more than 20 years. Amy currently leads worldwide engagements for multinational financial services and technology companies. She has extensive experience representing both corporate and individual clients regarding professional work visas, extraordinary ability petitions, family-based permanent residency, and complex citizenship and naturalization matters. Amy has been a TLA board member since 2014. She holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. from Tufts University.
Ken Priore, a TLA board member, has been a practicing attorney for 25 years, and is now the legal director at Box, a cloud content management company based in California. There, he leads strategic partnerships and global procurement teams, driving industry best practices in compliance, privacy and security. Ken held previous roles at MVC Capital, Charles Schwab, and PayPal, and was general counsel of mobile dating app Grindr through its sale to Kunlun in 2016. Ken received his J.D. from Tulane University, and graduated from Tufts in 1991 with a B.A. in History.
Daniel P. Valentine, a TLA board member, is a senior project manager in the Boston-area office of engineering firm Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, Inc. Dan focuses much of his time on structural investigations, with a natural affinity for projects involving litigation. These types of projects provide him with the opportunity to work with attorney clients, and his legal education allows him to better understand their objectives and assist them in the litigation process. Daniel received his J.D. from Arizona State University in 2003, an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from Suffolk University in 2004, and a B.S. and M.S. in civil/structural engineering from Tufts in 1993 and 1995 respectively. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, learning about history, and tackling renovation projects at his antique (1803) house.
